Dear Palma Resident, Fonally, Palma RA had set up a Palma Forum Portal fo all. Log in at http://kemuningpalma.forumotion.net/index.htm You just have to register then you allow to post your topic & comment in the forum.

The purpose of the Forum not only for resident to voice also for all Palma and Kemuning Utama ppl to share their interest. Please visit the FORUM NOW In future, for all updates and latest Palma's News will post in the forum & Portal. The Forum still in beta version (testing period) . Proposal to build a Management Office in Kemuning Palma Residence

Paramount will handover the management of Palma Residence to the Kemuning Palma Resident's Association (KPRA) by end of this year. Due to this for the effective management of Palma Residence, KPRA has proposed to build a Management Office at the empty space behind the treatment plant, near the basketball court.

KPRA would love to hear the comments of all residents about the building of a Management Office. Please post your comments here.

Be a Good Neighbour

As part of a community, you can contribute to its well-being and harmony just by observing these simple guidelines:

(i) Show consideration for your neighbours and do not cause nuisance or disturbance to them:

• When you are carrying out any activity that produces sound or noise, such as listening to the radio, watching TV, playing a musical instrument, carrying out noisy DIY jobs, please avoid doing them late at night or in the early hours of the morning.
• Please ensure that your children do not make too much noise when playing, or jump or run in the house excessively.
• Advise your visitors to refrain from any act or behaviour that may disturb your neighbours.
• Do not drag furniture or large objects across the floor. Do consider rubber stoppers on furniture legs to absorb noise.
• Please leave rubbish in the rubbish chute. Discard of oversized items (ie. household electrical items, old furnitures) appropriately. Do not leave items in the public or common areas as these can create an eyesore and damage properties.
• If you keep pets, do train it well and take good care of it. Do not allow it to disturb your neighbours with incessant noise. Do maintain the hygiene of pet's area to prevent any unwanted disease. When out in public, keep dogs on a leash and pick up its droppings and dispose of it in the bin.
• Practice parking etiquette. When you park your vehicle, be sure not to block anyone's access, or make them have to pull out of a very tight spot. Don't over-rev the engine of your car or motorcycle early in the morning or late at night. Park in front of your home, not theirs. Avoid slamming your doors or shining your headlights into your neighbour's windows late at night.
• Be aware of your surroundings, as well as theirs. Keep your eye on anyone you don't know acting suspiciously around your neighbour's property. When in doubt, call the security so they can quickly curtail any criminal activity.
• Invite your neighbours over for tea, or offer to babysit their kids/pets or keep an eye on the house while they're away. They'll do the same for you.
• If you hear of any neighbourhood news (events, crimes, special garbage pickups, special event parking restrictions, etc.) give them a heads-up.
• Communicate with your neighbour. Above all, touch base with your neighbours regularly and keep them in the loop. Remember the golden rule and if anything you are planning to do may affect them, minimize it and let them know in advance. Keep the channels of communication open by reminding them that if you're doing anything which disturbs them, they should feel comfortable approaching you about it.

(ii) Exercise a reasonable level of tolerance towards your neighbours - some noise or inconvenience is inevitable in an urban, high-density living area.

DOs and DON'Ts : (The House Rules of KPRA)

In line with our mission statement, we are pleased to append below the following House Rules:

Let's make sure our environment is clean and healthy.

Here are some suggestion from Julian & CFLee


DOs-->
1) Pick up the rubbish around the Parks and the roadside as we walk around.
2) Walk the dogs but pick up the poo along the way.
3) Teach our children not to litter.
4) Do use the vehicle access card when entering & leaving the Palma Precinct
5) Maintenance fees must be paid in advance every 3 months
6) Do ask your visitors to register with the security guards when entering the Palma Precinct
7) Do inform your Contractors to adhere to the Rules and Regulations (ie; Renovation work should stop by 6pm sharp and all workers leave by 7pm)



DON'Ts-->
1) Don't throw anything into the fountain pond.
2) Do not litter.
3) Do not let our pets loose and roam about freely.
4) Motorcycles are not allow in the Parks.
5) All fallen leaves and rubbish must not be swept into the drains.
6) Do not speed when driving around the Palma Precinct.
7) All renovation work must not be carried out on Sundays & Public holidays
8) No private buntings/banners are allowed unless sanctioned by the KPRA or MBSA.
